Reading Notes: The Tyrant Who Became A Just Ruler

"king"
~~
I am really enjoying the children's tales and have found them to be great inspirations for story ideas. This specific story is about a king who treated his people awfully. His people would pray for a new king to rule them. Until one day, the king had a change of heart and announced it to his people. He realized that people who are evil to others will eventually be consumed by evil themselves. So, I thought this story would prove to be a very interesting way to tell a story of a young bully.

The bully will be the guy at the middle school that no one wants to mess with. Everyone will fear him. His fellow students would hope that one day he would move away or drop out of school. Eventually the bully would have a change of heart after seeing a certain chain of events. In the original story, the king sees a fox get attacked by a dog. The dog then gets hit by his owner. The owner gets hit by a horse and the horse breaks its leg in a hole. I thought I could sum all of that up into one situation. The young boy gets bullied by some high school students.

From then on, the boy will never want to grow up to be like those other kids. He would treat everyone with kindness after realizing what evil can do to someone. This would be the basic plot of the story, with some added description in the actual writing.
